We are seeking a dependable and proactive individual to join our team as a Van Driver & Campus Support Associate. This unique role combines student transportation, campus safety, and facilities support to ensure a welcoming and well maintained environment for our community.
During the day, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for students along thoughtfully designed routes. In the evenings, you will help maintain campus security, assist with light facilities upkeep, and support events. Ideal candidates are professional, detail oriented, and committed to fostering a safe and positive environment.
Van Driver Duties:
Safely operate passenger vans with up to 14 riders.
Transport students (grades 5–12) on designated daily routes.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance concerns.
Create a welcoming atmosphere for riders and manage conduct issues with professionalism.
Attend team meetings and required training sessions.
Campus Support Duties:
Patrol buildings, parking lots, and grounds to ensure safety.
Monitor entrances/exits and respond to alarms or disturbances.
Maintain a visible presence to deter misconduct.
Monitor security camera feeds and report unusual activity.
Assist in enforcing campus policies and procedures.
Facilities Support Duties:
Perform light maintenance (changing bulbs, tightening hardware, clearing blockages).
Set up and break down equipment for evening events.
Support custodial staff with basic cleaning tasks as needed.
Report facility damage or hazards promptly.
Assist with emergency response protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in security, facilities, or related fields preferred.
Experience in school, campus, or institutional settings a plus.
Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience.
Clean driving record (no DUIs/reckless driving; fewer than 3 moving violations in past 3 years).
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Ability to walk campus grounds, lift up to 50 lbs, and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
Must pass background check and fingerprint clearance.
