OA Reference: Driver Recruiter Manager
AppleOne is seeking an experienced Driver Recruiter Manager to lead a team of driver recruiters. This role is responsible for overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process for CDL drivers, aligning hiring strategies with operational goals, and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, team-oriented mindset and a strong background in transportation recruiting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5-8 driver recruiters to meet hiring goals.
Oversee daily recruiting operations and ensure alignment with company hiring objectives.
Conduct interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications.
Guide team in completing background checks, PSP and MVR reports.
Track and manage onboarding processes
Collaborate with operations to forecast hiring needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
Support recruiting events and build national talent pipelines.
Qualifications
3–5 years of recruiting experience, in the transportation industry.
1–2 years of team leadership or management experience.
Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT laws and regulations
College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Paycom, TenStreet, TMW. and 3rd party background check systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
