Required and Preferred Experience
• Experience in donor relations, annual giving, or advancement services
• Familiarity with fundraising campaigns, donor pipelines, or related operations
• Blackbaud or Raiser's Edge experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and a customer service-oriented approach
About the Opportunity
We are a recruiting and staffing agency partnering with a state department in Greenwood, SC to identify an Advancement Services Specialist. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The position offers flexibility in scope depending on the candidate’s strengths, whether in donor relations, annual giving, or advancement services.
Position Summary
This role supports donor relations, annual giving, and advancement services functions to ensure continuity of fundraising operations and donor engagement. The ideal candidate brings a well-rounded advancement background or strong experience in at least one key area.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with donor acknowledgements, gift processing support, and stewardship activities
• Support annual giving initiatives and alumni outreach efforts
• Maintain donor records and reporting within Blackbaud or Raiser's Edge
• Assist with campaign tracking, list management, and basic analytics
• Coordinate efforts across Advancement, Marketing, and Finance teams
