Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and organized Document Processing Lead for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for someone with document processing, scanning, records management, copy center, or reprographics experience who is ready to take on team leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced office services environment.

As the Document Processing Lead, you will oversee daily scanning operations, support accurate records handling, coordinate workloads, and lead a small team of up to 6 employees. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, organize, scan, and process documents accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee daily scanning operations and ensure files are completed correctly and on time.
- Lead, guide, and support a team of up to 6 employees while prioritizing daily workloads.
- Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
- Order, track, and maintain office and scanning supplies to support daily operations.
- Operate scanners, computers, office equipment, and other technical equipment as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $21.56 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary, temp-to-perm opportunity.
- Location: Phoenix, AZ.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead daily document scanning and records processing operations.
- Prioritize workloads, organize daily production, and ensure processing deadlines are met.
- Supervise and support a team of up to 6 direct reports.
- Operate scanning equipment, computers, and general office technology.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
- Strong computer skills and ability to operate scanners, office equipment, and technical equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, assertive, and comfortable providing direction to a team.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 to 55 lbs. and occasionally push or pull equipment on wheels.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous copy, scanning, reprographics, records management, or document-processing experience preferred.
- Prior experience leading a small team in an administrative, production, mailroom, or office services environment preferred.
