Role: Document Handler/Scanner Operator
Pay: $13–$15 per hour
Assignment: Temporary
Location: El Paso, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for overtime and frequent Saturdays to start.
Shift: 6:00am–2:30pm MST
Start Date: ASAP - END: April 30, 2026

What you'll do:
• Process and manage documents — scan, review, classify, index, and perform data entry while maintaining accuracy and meeting client SLAs.
• Handle mail operations — receive, sort, prep, and track inbound/outbound mail, boxes, pallets, and packages using chain-of-custody systems.
• Ensure document quality and compliance — verify financial and other documents, apply correct business rules, and maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Support scanning and imaging workflows — perform high-volume scanning, re-scan when needed, file/re-box documents, and prepare materials for imaging.
• Serve as a point of contact — respond to document-related inquiries, submit work orders, and support workforce operations (mail services, imaging, financial input).
• Maintain professionalism and strong relationships — provide 5-star customer service, collaborate with teams, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with training and workflow continuity — train backups, identify when additional support is needed, and proactively take on extra tasks during downtime.

Requirements:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office; ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of shipping/receiving procedures.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent); 1+ year of work experience preferred.
• Ability to work assigned hours and maintain a professional attitude.
• Ability to follow all workplace policies, including no devices on the active work floor.

Physical Demands:
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or move packages on a wheeled cart (up to 60 lbs. capacity).
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for operating office equipment (phones, copiers, binding machines, etc.).
• Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or more frequently.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures in warehouse and loading dock areas.
