We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized DMV Clerk – Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate processing and maintenance of all DMV and title documents, supporting the efficient operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Verification & Processing:

Verify, process, and maintain accuracy of all DMV and title documents for state registration.

Process all vehicle registrations in the state where the vehicle will be titled.

Send bills, contracts, warranties, and service contracts to the appropriate state agency (e.g., DMV).

Lien & Title Management:

Process lien releases and document within the title tracking system for consumer loans.

Assist with processing of trusts, certificates of deposit (CDs), individual retirement accounts (IRAs), levies, subpoenas, and wire transfers.

Account Management:

Manage dormant accounts and oversee the escheatment process.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus.

Proven experience in DMV operations, title processing, or a related administrative role.

Strong knowledge of DMV laws and regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software applications.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
