Pay Rate: $17.69 – $22.28 per hour
Shift: 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch optional)

Dress Code: Business Casual (Jeans allowed, no rips)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and order processing operations. This role involves working with Excel reports, coordinating truck routes, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing excellent customer service. The position is office-based, and the selected candidate will work independently from their assigned cubicle with a company-provided laptop.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate product movement from the distribution center to customers and manage returns
Create and optimize truck routes to balance workload and shipping costs
Update delivery systems and maintain accurate shipping data
Generate and manage trip sheets and bills of lading
Perform Oracle system updates, including shipping confirmations and notes
Communicate delivery schedules and updates to internal teams and customers
Monitor truck ETAs and provide timely updates
Pre-call customers and send delivery notifications
Run and close out open order reports
Request certificates of insurance as needed
Provide backup support to Senior Dispatcher when required
Handle customer inquiries and coordinate with appropriate departments

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Experience with dispatching or truck routing preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Familiarity with Oracle, Descartes, or Kofax is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to interpret and manage detailed data and instructions

Work Environment
Office setting with standard lighting, temperature, and noise levels
Mostly sedentary role with occasional walking, standing, or light lifting (under 10 lbs)
Requires basic computer skills, typing, and hand-eye coordination
