We’re seeking an experienced **Dispatcher & Load Planner** with a background in **bulk tanker transportation** to manage deliveries, driver schedules, and logistics operations. This role requires strong coordination skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules and customer demands.
?? **Location:** New Kent County, VA (25 min from Downtown Richmond)
?? **Starting Salary:** $60K - $65K
?? **Hours:** Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Schedule and dispatch **bulk tanker drivers** while ensuring DOT compliance
- Manage customer orders, enter dispatch data, and oversee load assignments
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and regulatory compliance
- Support safety initiatives and maintain accurate dispatch records
**Qualifications:**
- **Bulk tanker dispatch experience required**
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of federal transportation and safety regulations
- Proficiency in dispatch software and data entry
