Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Monica, CA. This full-time Dishwasher role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, teamwork, and supporting a smooth kitchen operation in a fast-paced food service environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher and other cleaning equipment according to sanitation standards.
- Keep dishwashing areas, sinks, floors, work surfaces, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Remove trash and recycling while following proper food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and food-preparation support as needed.
- Report broken equipment, damaged dishes, or safety concerns to management promptly.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $39,500 to $42,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Shift: PM shift starts at 2:00 PM.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Background check process required.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Maintain clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Support daily kitchen cleanliness, organization, trash removal, and sanitation needs.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and cleanliness.

- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred for this experience level.
- Previous restaurant, kitchen, dishwashing, or food service experience is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Reliable, punctual, dependable, and committed to consistent attendance.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies, containers, and related items as needed.
- Comfortable working around water, cleaning products, heat, and kitchen equipment.
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience operating a commercial dishwasher.
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleaning procedures.
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hospitality, food service, or food and beverage production environment.
