The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility within the telecommunications industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the telecommunications market, including industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. The Director will lead and mentor sales and marketing teams, foster strong relationships with key clients and partners, and ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets within the telecommunications sector.
• Lead, mentor, and manage sales and marketing teams, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, traditional, and events.
• Manage the sales pipeline, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with product development, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with product offerings and service delivery.
• Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
• Negotiate and close complex sales deals and manage key accounts.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and marketing within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and increasing market share.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications products, services, technologies, and market dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM software and marketing automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Deep knowledge of the telecommunications competitive landscape.
