Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales for a direct hire opportunity in City of Industry, CA. This leadership role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in sales management, business development, key account relationships, and revenue growth.

The Director of Sales will lead internal sales staff and external independent sales representatives while partnering closely with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives, new product development, and market expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, strengthening customer partnerships, and influencing business direction at a senior level.

This role offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with direct visibility to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on leadership style, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the internal sales team and external independent sales representatives.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customer accounts to support long-term growth and retention.
- Partner with executive leadership on new product development, sales strategy, and expansion into new markets.
- Provide timely sales updates, performance reports, and progress summaries to the Chief Executive Officer based in Asia, including coordination across time zones.
- Establish sales goals, monitor team performance, analyze sales trends, and drive consistent revenue growth.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed for customer meetings, business development, and industry trade shows.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead sales team operations, performance management, coaching, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Manage key customer relationships and support business development with major accounts.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on product development, market expansion, and strategic sales planning.
- Prepare sales reports, performance updates, and market insights for senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of five years of sales management or related sales leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, supervise, and develop sales teams.
- Strong customer relationship management, account management, and business development skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Ability to coordinate with executive leadership across international time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

- Window coverings industry experience strongly preferred.
- Big-box retail channel experience, such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, or similar national retail accounts, strongly preferred.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management systems preferred.
- Trade show, national account, and independent sales representative management experience preferred.
