The HR Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the Human Resources function within the organization. Responsible for leading and managing an HR team supporting over 1,000 employees, this executive-level role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices. The Director will work closely with senior leadership to implement policies and initiatives that align with organizational goals, ensure compliance, and drive employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Provide leadership and direction to the HR team, ensuring efficient and effective HR operations across a large-scale workforce.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, offering guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management.
- Oversee talent acquisition, ensuring recruitment strategies attract top-tier professionals while promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Manage employee relations, resolving disputes, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Implement comprehensive learning and development programs, supporting employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and EEO regulations.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives, ensuring effective management of personnel resources to meet operational demands.
- Spearhead organizational development initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior-level role overseeing large-scale teams (1,000+ employees).
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employment law.
- Proven ability to drive strategic HR initiatives within a complex, fast-paced environment.
