Job Summary

A growing organization in the industrial facilities and infrastructure construction sector is seeking a Director of Finance for a direct hire opportunity in Glendale, CA. The Director of Finance will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen financial transparency, support strategic initiatives, and improve financial performance across the organization and its subsidiaries. Key Responsibilities

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, and capital planning across the organization and subsidiaries.
- Prepare executive and board-level financial reporting, including KPI analysis, ROI analysis, financial trends, and business performance insights.
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, process improvements, and financial decision-making.
- Manage financial oversight for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, including budget tracking, forecasting, profitability analysis, and variance reporting.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles while improving financial transparency, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional accountability.
- Support internal audits, financial controls, and continuous improvement initiatives related to finance processes and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $190,000 to $210,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead enterprise-level financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting.
- Manage project-based financial analysis, budget performance, cash flow planning, and profitability reporting.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, business performance analysis, and financial decision support.
- Support finance process improvements, internal controls, reporting accuracy, and organizational accountability.

- Management-level corporate finance experience, preferably within construction, infrastructure, industrial facilities, or a project-based business environment.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
- Ability to prepare and present financial information to senior executives, board members, and cross-functional leaders.
- Strong understanding of project financials, cost tracking, profitability analysis, and capital planning.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence business decisions, improve financial visibility, and collaborate effectively with operations and executive teams.
- Approximately 6 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership or management-level responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure, engineering, or related project-driven industry.
- Experience supporting subsidiaries, multi-entity financial reporting, or complex organizational structures.
- Background supporting mergers and acquisitions, strategic growth initiatives, or executive-level financial planning.
- Advanced financial modeling, dashboard reporting, or ERP system experience.
