We are seeking a Director of Engineering – Logistics Solutions to lead the design, development, and delivery of technology solutions that power our cross-border logistics network. This role blends strategy with execution—you’ll set the technical direction while ensuring integrations, data flows, and client-facing systems are delivered on time, at scale, and with measurable business impact.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who can bridge logistics operations, technology, and engineering execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the build and delivery of logistics technology solutions (parcel processing, customs compliance, billing, tracking).
Manage onshore and offshore engineering teams; implement best practices for development, testing, deployment.
Architect end-to-end solutions across carrier integrations, customs systems, and client platforms (ERP, OMS, WMS, Shopify, etc.).
Oversee APIs, ETL pipelines, and reporting frameworks; ensure accuracy, scalability, and compliance.
Partner with operations, product, and client onboarding teams; guide vendor implementations.
Deliver integration templates and playbooks to accelerate onboarding.
Define enterprise architecture roadmap for logistics, data, and client integration systems.
Ensure systems meet regulatory and customer requirements across multiple geographies.
Qualifications
10+ years in engineering, systems architecture, or solutions delivery; 5+ years in logistics, e-commerce, 3PL, or parcel delivery.
Proven success leading engineering teams (including offshore) and delivering enterprise logistics solutions.
Deep knowledge of cross-border logistics, customs clearance, duty/tax automation, and carrier integrations.
Hands-on skills in APIs, middleware/iPaaS, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), SQL, ETL, and BI.
Experience with OMS, WMS, TMS, ERP integrations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Background in lean, high-growth, or 3PL/parcel environments a plus.
