Are you passionate about facilitating resolution in complex disputes and driving business growth? Join our team as the Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ADR services.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Case Management Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for parties and mediators on assigned cases, making informed decisions in consultation with the Regional VP.
Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our ADR services, developing strategic plans and pitches to attract potential clients.
Community Engagement: Actively participate in regional legal, business, and ADR communities, promoting our services and building strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners.
Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to various stakeholders, effectively communicating our value proposition.
Case Management: Oversee assigned cases, ensuring accurate information entry and maintenance in the case management system, and making case-related decisions with independent judgment.
Arbitrator Support: Advise arbitrators on procedural hearing management and related issues.
Data Analysis: Analyze user needs, problems, and service quality by extracting relevant metrics from our database, and respond to inquiries about our ADR services promptly.
Feedback and Improvement: Participate in hearings and conferences, providing feedback and recommendations to the RVP to enhance service quality.
Panel Recruitment: Assist in recruiting panel members in line with our Qualification Criteria for Admittance to the Roster of Arbitrators and Mediators, and participate in panel member reviews.
Market Analysis: Track and review trends in regional markets where we provide services.
Training and Education: Support arbitrator training programs, education initiatives, and conferences.
Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of case information and adhere to information security and data privacy policies.
Attendance: Demonstrate regular, reliable, and predictable job attendance, and attend on-site and in-person meetings and training sessions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree: In business, legal, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
Experience: 3-5 years in a business development role, preferably in the Legal Services field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
