Sales Representative – Propane Solutions
Tampa, Florida | Base + Commission
An established and growing provider of commercial propane and energy solutions is seeking a driven Propane Sales Representative to expand market share across Tampa Bay. Serving industries including agriculture, industrial, hospitality/retail, and government, this company is known for high-quality service, long-term partnerships, and a strong, values-driven culture.
This role is ideal for a true hunter—a sales professional who thrives on opening doors, winning new business, and building lasting customer relationships.
What You’ll Do
Proactively prospect and close new commercial propane business while expanding existing accounts
Develop and execute strategic territory plans to meet or exceed sales targets
Present customized propane and appliance solutions to clients across multiple industries
Interpret blueprints and understand pipe sizing, appliance sales, and technical requirements
Coordinate permitting needs with local and governmental agencies
Maintain consistent follow-up and deliver high-level customer service
Apply working knowledge of NFPA 54 and NFPA 58 codes
Represent the company’s culture, values, and growth mindset in all interactions
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of outside sales experience in propane, energy, or fuel solutions
Proven success in new business development and territory growth
Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills
Comfortable working independently and managing a sales territory
Experience using CRM and standard sales tools
Cultural fit is critical—pre-employment assessments required
Compensation & Growth
First-year OTE: $80K–$100K+ (uncapped commission & bonuses)
