Our client a non-profit organization in Tarpon Springs is seeking an Administrative Specialist to join their team on a direct hire basis.
As the face of this organization, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for an inviting, professional and warm atmosphere.
Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors, managing office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring a smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the office. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a multi-faceted role and is passionate about contributing to a cause greater than themselves.
Key Responsibilities:
• Warmly greet and assist visitors, providing an excellent first impression of our organization.
• Handle incoming calls and correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication.
• Oversee office supply inventory, ordering, and maintenance of office equipment.
• Publish newsletter (once/week) and Events announcements (once/week) to our membership.
• Understand Master database so as to be able to coordinate Event invitations and member information.
• Phone calls to members, as needed, for updates of database.
• Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including data entry, document preparation, and filing.

Experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a non-profit or community-focused organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of individuals.
