Job Summary

 Digital Document Specialist for a 30 hour per week opportunity in Portland, OR. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented graphic arts, forms management, or print production professional with strong Adobe InDesign skills who enjoys creating digital documents

In role you will support a collaborative forms management environment where precision, customer service, and workflow coordination are essential. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and production partners to update forms, build fillable PDF documents, review proofs, and keep projects moving on schedule. Key Responsibilities

- Update forms, proofs, and document requests in Adobe InDesign based on customer markups, edits, and instructions.
- Create, edit, and maintain fillable PDF forms, fields, and layers for business document workflows.
- Review proofs for accuracy, consistency, formatting, and production readiness.
- Coordinate with customers, internal teams, and production staff to clarify requirements and meet deadlines.
- Design and modify forms and print-related materials while following established quality standards.
- Manage multiple document projects and production schedules in a detail-driven environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $43,000.00 to $48,000.00 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Update and manage business forms using Adobe InDesign and customer-provided markups.
- Create and maintain fillable PDF forms and related document components.
- Review proofs and coordinate production workflows to ensure accuracy and on-time completion.
- Communicate with customers and production teams to translate project requirements into finished documents.

- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, forms management, print production, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and PDF editing tools.
- Strong PC skills and confidence using software applications in a production environment.
- Ability to interpret markups, instructions, specifications, and proofing feedback.
- Strong proofreading, quality control, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Customer-focused communication style with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience creating fillable PDF forms.
- Copy and/or offset printing experience.
- Project management or workflow coordination experience.
- Experience working in a production, print, document services, or forms management environment.
