We’re seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead and grow our philanthropic efforts. This is a high-impact role for a strategic fundraiser who excels at building relationships, securing funding, and turning purpose into measurable support.
You’ll manage donor relationships, grants, and corporate partnerships while shaping fundraising strategies that expand our reach and deepen engagement. If you’re motivated by mission, data-driven decision-making, and meaningful collaboration, this role offers both influence and growth.
What You’ll Do
Fundraising Strategy
Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy across individual donors, corporate partners, grants, and events.
Identify new opportunities to grow and diversify revenue.
Donor Relations & Stewardship
Build trusted relationships with donors and prospects.
Create thoughtful stewardship experiences that drive long-term engagement and retention.
Grants & Institutional Giving
Research, write, and submit grant proposals.
Manage grant reporting and compliance for foundations and public funders.
Corporate Partnerships
Develop sponsorships, in-kind donations, and employee engagement programs.
Strengthen long-term corporate giving relationships.
Events & Campaigns
Partner with leadership to plan and execute fundraising and donor-engagement events.
Support donor acquisition and recognition through meaningful experiences.
Communications & Storytelling
Collaborate with marketing to produce compelling fundraising content.
Craft personalized donor appeals and impact updates.
Data, Budgeting & Reporting
Maintain accurate donor data in the CRM.
Analyze fundraising performance and manage the development budget.
Report progress and insights to leadership and the board.
Collaboration
Work closely with executive leadership, board members, and staff to align fundraising with organizational priorities.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
3–5+ years of fundraising or development experience (nonprofit preferred)
Proven success securing gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners
Strong grant writing and donor communication skills
Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Financial and data literacy, including budgeting and reporting
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office/Excel
Strategic, creative thinker with a collaborative mindset
Compensation
$120,000 – $150,000 + bonus
Final compensation will reflect experience, education, and qualifications.
