Development Manager – Orlando, FL | Full-Time | Mid-Level
About the Role:
We are seeking a relationship-focused Development Manager to grow the donor base, strengthen recurring giving, and support a growing fundraising program. This mid-level role will represent the organization in the community, help plan events, manage donor communications, and build systems for long-term fundraising success.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am–2:00 pm (40 hours/week)

**Responsibilities:**
Expand individual donor base and recurring giving programs through outreach, follow-up, and targeted communications
Manage donor database with accurate segmentation, reporting, and tracking of fundraising KPIs
Develop and implement donor stewardship including thank-you calls, personal notes, impact updates, and newsletters
Plan and execute two major annual fundraising events (e.g., 5K Run/Walk and Fall Fundraiser)
Represent the organization at community events, chamber meetings, and corporate engagement opportunities
Assist with grant tracking, reports, and preparation of donor and campaign materials
Support the Board of Directors with administrative and logistical needs related to fundraising and events
Qualifications:
5+ years in fundraising, development, event management, or nonprofit external relations
Proven success raising $300K–$500K+ annually or supporting a comparable development portfolio
Experience managing donor databases and segmentation
Strong writing, storytelling, and relationship-building skills
Skilled in event planning and volunteer coordination
Comfortable with occasional evening/weekend events
Knowledge of homelessness, poverty, or human services is a plus
