Job Title: Desk Clerk – Property Management

Reports To: Property Manager or Leasing Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Desk Clerk to join our property management team. As the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors, you’ll provide friendly service while supporting day-to-day office operations. Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist residents, guests, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member
Monitor and manage entry to the property, including logging guests or contractors
Accept and distribute mail or packages (if applicable to property type)
Maintain visitor logs, key logs, and security checklists
Support leasing staff by scheduling appointments or providing basic property information
Respond to minor resident concerns or requests and escalate as needed
Help maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
Follow safety and security protocols at all times
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of experience in customer service, front desk, or administrative role (property management experience a plus)
Professional, courteous, and well-organized
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Comfortable using office technology (phones, email, basic databases)
Ability to remain calm and helpful in fast-paced or occasionally stressful situations
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Bilingual skills a plus (depending on community needs)
