Job Title: Delivery Manager

Location: City (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Duration: April 20, 2026 – December 31, 2026 (with potential extension)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to drive the successful execution of digital product initiatives. This role combines Scrum Master and Project Management responsibilities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of product features while supporting engineering teams and coordinating releases.

The Delivery Manager will work closely with Product Management, UX Design, and Engineering teams to lead agile practices, manage delivery plans, and maintain alignment across stakeholders. This role also supports operational activities, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan & Drive Execution

Own the end-to-end planning, sprint, and release delivery lifecycle
Translate product roadmaps into actionable sprint plans with clear milestones
Develop and maintain project plans, risks, and dependencies
Ensure alignment between user stories, technical design, and team capacity
Deliver key artifacts such as sprint plans, delivery plans, tracking boards, and team documentation

2. Lead Agile Delivery Practices

Facilitate agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Lead periodic planning sessions for the team
Support backlog refinement to ensure work meets readiness standards
Maintain backlog quality and team velocity
Establish and enforce delivery standards and definitions of ready/done
Provide metrics, documentation, and status reporting

3. Support Engineering Execution

Partner with technical leads to plan and track engineering work
Coordinate releases, deployment planning, and QA alignment
Ensure production readiness including monitoring and documentation
Maintain delivery documentation and release communications

4. Manage Risks, Issues & Dependencies

Act as the first point of escalation for delivery blockers
Identify and coordinate cross-team dependencies
Proactively mitigate risks and communicate issues
Maintain risk logs, dependency tracking, and communication plans

5. Enable Transparency & Reporting

Track and report on delivery performance (velocity, throughput, release cadence)
Provide regular status updates and KPI reporting
Maintain documentation for visibility and audit readiness
Produce quality and compliance reports

6. Foster a High-Performing Team

Promote a collaborative and transparent team environment
Coach team members on agile best practices
Lead retrospectives and ensure continuous improvement actions are implemented
Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Certifications (Preferred)

Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification
Project management certification
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
Required Skills & Experience
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex initiatives
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning abilities
Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, risks, and priorities
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Technical Skills
Experience with project tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence or similar)
Experience with portfolio/project management tools
Proficiency in standard office software (spreadsheets, presentations, documents, email)
Familiarity with diagramming and reporting tools
Experience Requirements
3–5+ years in a Project Manager or Scrum Master role
3+ years working in an IT or technical environment
Experience leading application development or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterat
