Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Dealership Shop and Car Porter for a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a successful local automotive dealership in Bossier City, LA. Key Responsibilities

- Move, park, and organize vehicles safely around the dealership, lot, and service areas.
- Support vehicle detailing, cleaning, and preparation for customers, sales, or service needs.
- Assist shop and service team members with daily workflow, organization, and vehicle readiness.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional shop and dealership environment.
- Follow dealership procedures for vehicle handling, safety, and customer service standards.
- Work as part of a team to support efficient dealership and maintenance operations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience and position.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Full-time opportunity.
- Schedule may be Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday.
- When working Saturdays, a weekday off will be provided.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support dealership shop, service, and vehicle preparation operations.
- Safely move, park, and stage vehicles as needed.
- Assist with detailing, shop organization, and general vehicle readiness.

- Valid driver's license required.
- Driving record must meet dealership insurance requirements.
- Must be able to successfully complete required background and drug screening.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Interest in a long-term position with opportunities to grow.
- Comfortable working in an automotive dealership, shop, lot, or service department environment.
- Entry-level candidates with less than 1 year of experience are encouraged to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in automotive detailing, dealership operations, service departments, shop environments, or vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with safely moving and handling customer or dealership vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, presentable vehicles.
- Interest in growing within the automotive sales and repair services industry.
