We're looking for a Database Administrator to take ownership of our critical Software AG ecosystem.

In this role, you will be the go-to expert for our Adabas and Natural Security environments, ensuring they run efficiently, securely, and reliably. You'll be responsible for everything from daily backups and data refreshes to guiding mission-critical changes and enabling data access for our team.

What You'll Do:

• Administer the Software AG stack: Manage our production, test, and development environments, performing backups, data refreshes, and DDM maintenance.

• Strengthen security: Configure and maintain security controls, manage access for users, and perform routine audits to ensure a secure environment.

• Enable data access: Evaluate, install, and maintain data extraction tools like CONNX. You'll also create user guides and provide training to help others access and analyze data.

• Manage change: Guide file and schema modifications through the development, testing, and production environments, ensuring all changes are documented.

• Advance the platform: Research and implement new solutions to improve performance and resilience. You'll also perform necessary platform upgrades.

• Support resilience: Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
