Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst for a contract opportunity in the financial services industry in Saint Louis, MO. This role supports the accurate setup, maintenance, and validation of advisory account information within key systems of record.

This is a strong opportunity for a professional with 3-5 years of experience who enjoys data analysis, quality review, exception resolution, and process improvement. The position offers exposure to operational reporting, account maintenance, testing support, and business process initiatives in a collaborative team environment. Candidates will work with cross-functional partners and supportive internal teams while contributing to accuracy, control, and efficiency across important account processing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and process advisory account setup and maintenance requests with a high level of accuracy.
- Validate account coding, data entry, and account information within internal systems of record.
- Analyze operational reports, exception reports, and account data to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential risks.
- Research and resolve processing exceptions while escalating issues as needed.
- Support project work, testing activities, screenshot documentation, requirements gathering, and system-related initiatives.
- Partner with advisory, account maintenance, business, and technology teams to communicate findings, updates, and recommendations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $36.16 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Anticipated duration: 9 months, through the end of the year.
- Extension opportunity: No opportunity for extension.
- Location: 2801 Market St, F & L Bldg, Saint Louis, MO 63103.
- Work arrangement: Onsite for training, then eligible to transition to hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary between 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Review advisory account setup and maintenance requests and validate account information.
- Analyze reports, identify discrepancies, and support exception resolution.
- Support quality assurance, testing, screenshot collection, and data processing activities.
- Participate in process improvement and operational risk identification efforts.

- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in data quality, operations, financial services, accounting, finance, or a related area.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review data, coding, and reports for accuracy.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and research discrepancies.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an interest in improving workflows and reducing manual effort.
- Understanding of operational risk, controls, policies, procedures, and escalation practices.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal teams.
- Ability to balance daily processing responsibilities with project deliverables and deadlines.
- Proficiency with data review, reporting, and general business software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with advisory account processing, account maintenance, brokerage operations, or financial services operations.
- Quality assurance or testing support experience.
- Experience using data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting system implementations, process improvement initiatives, or business projects.
- Familiarity with Activity, InvestCloud, or similar financial services platforms.
