We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join a manufacturing plant team in Little Rock, AR. This contract opportunity is ideal for an organized administrative professional with strong Excel skills, accurate data entry experience, and the ability to support plant management across administrative, HR, payroll, purchasing, receiving, and reporting activities.
This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong exposure to plant operations, and the potential for extension or hire. The work environment is team-focused and fast-paced, with opportunities to collaborate with plant leadership, operations, safety, production, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will enjoy being a reliable resource for the site, keeping information organized, supporting daily business processes, and contributing to smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to plant management, including HR and payroll-related tasks for hourly employees.
- Perform accurate data entry, maintain records, and prepare monthly safety, production, and sales data reports.
- Receive and process invoices, MRO, raw material, purchasing, and receiving information using SAP and IOL systems.
- Manage daily office processes, mail sorting, office supplies, meeting coordination, and special event planning.
- Support data analysis for Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments as needed.
- Coordinate housekeeping concerns, assist with raw material management, and complete other administrative duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $22 per hour.
- Job Type: 6-month contract with potential for extension or hire.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Hours: Approximately 32 hours per week.
- Location: Little Rock, AR 72206.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain administrative records for plant operations.
- Support purchasing, receiving, invoice processing, and raw material tracking through SAP and related systems.
- Prepare and coordinate recurring safety, production, sales, and operational reports.
- Provide administrative support to plant leadership, HR, payroll, and cross-functional departments.
- Associate Degree with a concentration in Business or equivalent related and progressive work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of practical data entry or administrative support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent business software.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, active listening, coaching, staff development, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, grip, climb stairs and ladders, navigate rough terrain, and enter confined spaces when required.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to dust, fumes, high-noise areas, moving equipment, and non-temperature-controlled conditions.
- Ability to communicate clearly, remain calm in high-stress situations, adapt to organizational changes, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing administrative support in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or plant environment.
- Experience supporting HR, payroll, safety reporting, purchasing, receiving, or inventory-related processes.
- Familiarity with IOL systems or similar plant operations software.
- Comfort working around manufacturing materials, equipment traffic, and varying plant conditions.
