Data Entry Alpha Numeric Specialist/Clerical Role - Onsite in Chicago, IL
Looking for a detail-oriented position with competitive pay? Join our Receivables Operations team and play a crucial role in processing and digitizing sensitive documents. We have flexible work hours! This is a long-term temporary role working in a secured, high-security production environment. We're hiring for two roles: Data Entry and Clerical. Operations run 7 days a week, and we need candidates who are flexible to work part-time or full-time, including weekends and holidays.
Available Shifts & Pay Rates
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM | $22/hr
3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM or 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM | $23/hr
4th Shift (Weekend Shift): 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $22/hr
The shift times are not fixed and may be adjusted according to business needs.
1. Data Entry Role
Key Responsibilities:
Open and sort incoming mail; prepare documents and payments for digitization.
Enter and verify data based on customer instructions and standard procedures.
Operate high-volume scanning equipment and validate scanned images.
Reconcile paper documents with electronic reports.
Maintain quality, confidentiality, and production goals.
Follow internal audit, bank, and client-specific guidelines.
Requirements:
Strong data entry and typing skills.
Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet.
Must pass a background and credit check.
No time off permitted in the first 90 days.
No personal electronics allowed in the production area.
2. Clerical Role
Key Responsibilities:
Sort and organize incoming mail by removing forms and checks from envelopes.
Operate imaging equipment and verify check information based on client instructions.
Match scanned check images to physical documents.
Maintain accuracy and production standards.
Escalate non-routine issues to supervisors as needed.
Requirements:
Basic computer and typing skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
Must pass a background and credit check.
No time off in the first 90 days.
No personal electronics allowed in the production area.
