We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to assist with inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with computers, possess strong typing skills, and be able to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality. This is a short-term position designed to support our team during a period of increased workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update data accurately and efficiently into various systems and databases
Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy
Identify and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors
Maintain organized filing systems (digital and/or paper)
Perform data clean-up and formatting tasks as needed
Assist with general administrative tasks as assigned
Adhere to data confidentiality and security policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in data entry or a similar clerical role preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) and data entry software
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication skills
Working Conditions:
Office-based (onsite)
Standard working hours (M-F 8-5)
May require repetitive tasks and extended periods of sitting
