We are seeking an experienced Danville Branch Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a full-service financial services organization in Danville, CA. This role is ideal for a banking leader who is passionate about branch operations, customer relationships, team development, deposit growth, and community involvement.
The Danville Branch Manager will oversee the daily performance of the branch, including operations, sales leadership, customer service, compliance, staff coaching, and business development. This is an in-office leadership role offering the opportunity to guide a branch team, build strong customer relationships, support local community initiatives, and contribute directly to branch growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily branch operations, including customer service, sales performance, staffing, compliance, security, and overall branch administration.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop branch employees while conducting regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing performance management.
- Drive branch growth by developing sales strategies, promoting core deposit growth, cross-selling banking products, and deepening business and consumer customer relationships.
- Monitor branch performance, financial trends, audit readiness, expenses, transaction activity, and operational quality controls to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Resolve complex customer issues, support account servicing needs, and model a customer-first culture that promotes retention and service excellence.
- Represent the branch in the local business community and support community reinvestment activities, civic involvement, and relationship-building initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $74,880 to $107,525 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Work arrangement: In office.
- Location: Danville, CA.
- Schedule requirement: Must be able to work flexible hours, including some hours beyond the standard schedule as needed.
- Community involvement: Minimum of 10 CRA volunteer hours per year, typically scheduled during business hours. Volunteer time is compensable, and mileage is reimbursed.
- Manage full-service branch operations, including sales, service, compliance, staffing, and customer experience.
- Lead branch growth initiatives focused on deposits, new accounts, relationship building, and customer retention.
- Coach and develop branch staff through training, performance management, and regular one-on-one meetings.
- Oversee operational controls, audits, reporting, transaction approvals, and adherence to banking regulations.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a branch banking environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of branch management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex business and consumer accounts.
- Proven sales ability with documented branch growth results.
- Strong knowledge of branch operations, customer service, retail banking products, deposit growth, and compliance expectations.
- Experience hiring, training, coaching, developing, and managing employee performance.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build teamwork, accountability, and a customer-first culture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking systems.
- Active involvement in business-related local community organizations, such as a chamber of commerce, Rotary, or similar organization.
- Current California driver’s license and access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage for business-related travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Notary Public commission preferred.
- Experience partnering with lending teams to identify and refer small business credit opportunities.
- Established business and community relationships in the Danville, CA market preferred.
