DMV Title Clerk
Bakersfield, CA 93309
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $18–$22 per hour (DOE)
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm
We are seeking an experienced DMV Title Clerk to join a busy office in Bakersfield. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience processing DMV paperwork, registrations, and titles.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vehicle registrations, title transfers, and DMV documentation
Prepare and submit paperwork for new and used vehicles
Handle license plates, tags, smog certifications, and DMV fee payments
Resolve title discrepancies and ensure compliance with DMV regulations
Maintain accurate records and filing systems
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a DMV Title Clerk or similar role working with DMV transactions
Familiarity with DMV procedures, forms, and fees
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
