TITLE: DIRECTOR OF FORWARD PLANNING
ABOUT THE JOB: Seeking experienced candidates for a DIRECTOR OF FORWARD PLANNING role for a home builder/construction company. You will be responsible for generating development plans, pre-construction applications, oversee set up of HOA's, conduct investigations, generate surveys, consultant contracting, generate entitlements and land planning project schedules, secure bonds, manage/mentor Project Managers and other employees, request RFP's, request vendor setup, attend public hearings as needed, oversee all forward planning activities, oversee precise grade plans and plan for all lots, update proformas and budgets, obtain a final plat map, participate in pre open-for-sale activities, determine model complex location and more.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry and/or home building
environment.
• Previous planning experience in the home building realm
• Experience with government agencies/groups negotiating contracts/projects
• Previous management experience
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and other construction software
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication
skills, active listening skills, and time management skills.
