We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in San Leandro, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner
Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
Process orders, forms, applications, and requests
Maintain accurate customer records and update account information as needed
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations, shipping) to ensure customer needs are met
Follow company policies and procedures for service delivery and customer interaction
Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and report trends to management
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the department
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
1–2 years of customer service or related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for helping people
Bilingual (Spanish or another language) is a plus
Working Conditions:
Office-based role located in San Leandro, CA
Standard Monday–Friday business hours; occasional weekend or evening availability may be required
May require extended periods of sitting and working on a computer
