Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service with Sales professional for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Van Nuys, CA. As a Sales Assistant supporting the Internal Sales Manager, you will help coordinate leads, proposals, contracts, deposits, site walks, permits, and project documentation. This position offers exposure to customer service, sales operations, account management, and administrative coordination within the energy and utilities industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients to keep sales opportunities moving forward.
- Draft proposals using direction from the Sales Manager and information gathered from client conversations.
- Follow up on outstanding proposals, prepare final proposals and contracts, and coordinate signatures.
- Invoice deposits, monitor payment status, and help ensure sales documentation is accurate and complete.
- Vet incoming clients, schedule and confirm site walks, and coordinate communication between clients and field staff.
- Track permit progress, upload documents, organize client and project files, and support the Sales Manager with administrative tasks.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $25 to $28 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage client communication related to proposals, contracts, deposits, site walks, and project documentation.
- Track sales process activity, permit progress, payment status, and project file completion.
- Coordinate administrative details that help keep customer accounts and sales opportunities moving forward.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, client care, account coordination, or administrative support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional client-focused approach.
- Excellent follow-through, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and client requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable preparing documents, updating files, tracking status details, and coordinating next steps.
- Positive team attitude with the ability to work closely with leadership, clients, and field staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sales teams, account managers, or operations teams.
