OA Reference: Customer Service Sales Representative
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send written quotations to business customers
Enter purchase orders into the system and ensure timely follow-up
Process requests for sales representatives and distributors (literature, demos, etc.)
Maintain and prepare reports as requested by management
Provide cost-justifiable product recommendations to customers
Communicate with customers via email and phone, routing technical questions to Applications Engineers when necessary
Develop expertise as a product knowledge specialist
Support ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (minimum 2.0 GPA required)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Microbiology, Electronics, Communications, or related field (preferred)
2+ years of prior B2B inside sales, customer service, or data entry experience (preferred)
Valid driver’s license with good driving record (preferred)
Ability to travel 50% or more (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with PowerPoint a plus
Outgoing personality with ability to build strong rapport with customers and coworkers
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and strong attention to detail
Positive, professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desire to pursue a long-term career in sales and progress into outside sales
U.S. work authorization required
