Customer Service Representative – Employee Benefits

Are you passionate about helping people and looking to grow in the insurance and employee benefits field? We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our S125 Client Service Center team. In this role, you’ll support participants and employer plan administrators with questions related to Section 125 benefit plans, health insurance, and claims processing.

Key Responsibilities:
Answer inbound calls from both active and former employees of client companies, as well as from employer plan administrators
Educate callers on S125 benefit products, policies, procedures, and relevant IRS guidelines
Use internal tools and software to document interactions, escalate cases, and ensure accurate data entry
Research and resolve customer issues with professionalism and attention to detail
Collaborate with internal teams by escalating tasks or documentation as needed
Develop and maintain a foundational understanding of employee benefits products

Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree (preferred)
1+ year of experience in customer or client service
Contact center or call center experience (preferred)
Experience with employee benefits, health insurance, or claims handling (preferred)
Strong computer and multitasking skills
Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
