Customer Service Representative III – Retail Banking
We are partnering with a growing California-based financial institution to hire an experienced Customer Service Representative III for their Santa Barbara branch. This opportunity is ideal for career bankers who bring strong client service skills, sales ability, and hands-on account opening experience.
We’re seeking candidates who are currently working in banking (or very recent), demonstrate solid tenure, and understand relationship-based retail banking.
Key Responsibilities:
Open new personal and basic business accounts
Support clients with deposit products and daily banking need
Cross-sell banking products and identify opportunities to deepen client relationships
Deliver high-level customer service while meeting sales and performance goals
Support branch operations and ensure compliance with banking regulations (including BSA)
Collaborate with branch leadership and internal partners
Ideal Background:
Recent banking experience (currently working preferred)
Minimum 2 years teller or platform experience
Experience opening consumer and basic business accounts
Strong sales and client relationship skills
Working knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
Stable work history with professional communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems
Schedule & Location:
Onsite in Santa Barbara, CA
Monday–Friday schedule (branch hours)
Alternating Saturdays may be required
