Customer Service Representative (Remote – Equipment Required | Texas Only)

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Location: Remote (Work from Home) – TEXAS RESIDENTS ONLY
Assignment Type: Temporary Project
Start Date: Late April / Early May (Tentative)

This role is strictly limited to candidates currently residing in Texas.

IMPORTANT – REQUIRED EQUIPMENT (READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING)
This is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) position.

Candidates MUST have their own equipment that meets ALL requirements below.
Candidates who do NOT meet these requirements will NOT be considered under any circumstances.

Internet Requirements:
-Minimum: 20 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload
-Preferred: 25+ Mbps download / 10+ Mbps upload

Computer Requirements:
-Processor: Intel i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 or better (preferred)
-RAM: Minimum 4 GB (8+ GB preferred)
-Storage:
-Minimum: 64 GB (30 GB free)
-Preferred: 128 GB SSD (50 GB free)
-Operating System:
-Windows 10 OR macOS 10.15 or newer

Additional Mandatory Requirements:
-Webcam (must be ON during training)
-Second monitor (REQUIRED)

About the Role
We are hiring Customer Service Representatives to support a government program, assisting individuals with application processing and eligibility services.

Key Responsibilities
-Review, assess, and process applications
-Contact clients to gather missing or required information
-Verify information and determine eligibility
-Manage case referrals and documentation
-Educate customers on services and requirements
-Maintain consistent communication with customers
-Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
-High school diploma or GED
-2+ years of relevant experience (customer service, case management, or similar)
-Prior remote/work-from-home experience preferred
-Training Details (MANDATORY)
-Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
Duration: 30 days
Strict attendance required – no absences or schedule conflicts allowed
Missing training may result in removal from the project

Work Schedule
Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

Assessment & Screening
-Behavioral assessment required (must pass to be considered)
-7-year criminal background check
-Employment verification (1 employer)
-Education verification (High School Diploma or GED)
