Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Rep for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Simi Valley, CA within the automotive and parts manufacturing industry. The Customer Service Rep will support daily customer communication by answering phones, processing orders, responding to emails, resolving customer concerns, and assisting with sample requests. Training is available for the right individual, and the role offers room to grow in a professional customer care environment with positive teamwork and dependable leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer incoming customer calls in a professional, helpful, and timely manner.
- Process customer orders accurately and follow up on order-related questions or issues.
- Respond to customer emails using clear, professional written communication.
- Resolve customer concerns by gathering information, identifying solutions, and escalating issues when needed.
- Process sample requests and maintain accurate records in a Windows-based environment.
- Multitask between phone calls, emails, order entry, and customer support duties throughout the day.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Location: Simi Valley, CA.
- Vacation, holiday, and PTO available.
- Benefits are available after ninety days of employment.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Answer customer calls and provide professional customer support.
- Process orders, customer emails, and sample requests accurately.
- Resolve customer issues while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Manage multiple customer service tasks in a call center environment.

- Must complete a typing test with a minimum score of 45 WPM prior to interviewing.
- Must complete a writing sample prior to interviewing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in a Windows-based environment is required.
- Experience using Google Docs and Gmail is required.
- 1 to 2 years of related customer service, call center, office support, or order processing experience is helpful.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal team members.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior customer service or call center experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in automotive, parts manufacturing, distribution, or order processing environments is helpful.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to be trained on internal processes are preferred.
