Sales Operations & Business Relations Manager

A leading industrial solutions provider in the Inland Empire is seeking a strategic, goal-oriented Business Relations Manager. This high-impact leadership role bridges the gap between technical sales engineering and client success. You will oversee a team of Business Relations Executives, manage a high-volume lead pipeline, and drive strategic growth within a quality-regulated environment.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Leadership: Oversee and mentor the Business Relations Executive department to ensure peak performance.

Strategic Planning: Lead the implementation of the department’s strategic plan and identify decision-makers within target markets to initiate the sales process.

Technical Collaboration: Partner with Sales Engineers to provide technical product information and complex price quotations.

Account Management: Proactively manage Key Accounts and coordinate with the outside sales team on territory stratification plans.

Quality & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and support ISO-compliant processes.

Operational Oversight: Manage high-volume incoming requests via CRM (Prophet 21 experience is a plus) and troubleshoot solutions/Preventive Actions in partnership with other departments.

Requirements:

Experience: 3-5+ years in Sales Operations, Account Management, or Industrial Distribution.

Quality Standards: Direct experience or background working within ISO-certified environments (e.g., ISO 9001) is highly preferred.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage a professional team in a fast-paced environment.

Systems: Proficiency in P21 (Prophet 21) or similar ERP/CRM software is a significant plus.

Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn complex industrial product lines and support technical inquiries.
