Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and Bilingual/Spanish Customer Service/Cashier Clerk for a long-term contract opportunity in Orlando, FL. This role supports a public sector collections environment within a traffic division, assisting customers with payments, account transactions, reporting, and data entry.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with cashiering, bank teller, retail customer service, or financial transaction experience who enjoy working in a structured, customer-focused setting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, comfortable handling money, and able to provide excellent service in both English and Spanish. This position offers stability, consistent hours, and the opportunity to contribute to a team that supports important public service operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Accept and process customer payments using cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
- Provide professional customer service while assisting with payment-related questions and transactions.
- Accurately enter payment and customer information into Excel and other internal software systems.
- Prepare basic reports and maintain organized transaction records.
- Handle cash securely and follow established balancing, documentation, and compliance procedures.
- Support daily operations within the traffic division and collections process.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $18 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Assignment Length: Long term.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Overtime may be required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process customer payments and handle cash, debit card, and credit card transactions.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain transaction records.
- Use Excel and other software systems to input payment information and generate reports.
- Provide bilingual customer service support in English and Spanish.

- 2 to 3 years of cashiering, customer service, bank teller, retail, or similar cash-handling experience.
- Bilingual Spanish is required.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn and use multiple software programs.
- Stable work history and reliable attendance.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Experience handling money in environments such as banks or financial services or similar customer service settings.
- Must be able to complete a Level II background check, DMV check, and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience as a bank teller, Amscot customer service representative, retail cashier, or high-volume customer service representative.
- Experience working in a government, public sector, court-related, or collections environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm and professional when assisting customers with payment matters.
