Job Summary

We are seeking a bilingual Customer Service/Cashier for a contract/temporary opportunity in Naples, FL. This role supports a public sector collections environment within a Traffic Division setting, assisting customers with payments, accurate cash handling, data entry, and transaction reporting.

This is a strong opportunity for a dependable cashiering professional with experience in banking, retail, or similar high-volume payment environments. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the public, maintaining accuracy with financial transactions, and contributing to a professional, team-focused office environment. Candidates who are computer savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable using Excel and other software systems will be well positioned for success.

Key Responsibilities

- Accept and process customer payments accurately in a professional public-facing environment.
- Handle cash, balance transactions, and maintain accurate payment records.
- Enter payment and transaction information into Excel and other internal software programs.
- Prepare reports related to payments, collections, and daily cashiering activity.
- Provide courteous customer service while assisting with payment-related questions.
- Support the Traffic Division with clerical, data entry, and financial processing tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $18 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process payments and provide cashiering support in a collections-focused environment.
- Handle cash transactions, balance payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform data entry and update information in Excel and other software systems.
- Provide bilingual customer service support to English- and Spanish-speaking customers.

- 2-3 years of cashiering experience in a setting such as banking, retail, or a similar payment-processing environment.
- Bilingual Spanish is required.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer savvy with the ability to use Excel and learn additional software programs.
- Stable work history and reliability in previous roles.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to handle money responsibly and maintain confidentiality when working with customer and payment information.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in collections, court-related payment processing, government, or public sector environments.
- Prior experience working in a high-volume customer service or cashier window setting.
