The Customer Service Cash Clerk is ideal for someone with strong cashiering, bank teller, retail cash handling, or payment processing experience who enjoys working with the public in a structured, professional office setting. Key Responsibilities

- Accept and process customer payments accurately, including cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
- Provide professional customer service to individuals making payments or requesting account-related assistance.
- Enter payment and transaction information into Excel and other internal software systems.
- Prepare basic reports and maintain accurate records related to daily cash activity.
- Balance cash handling activity and follow established procedures for payment processing.
- Support the Traffic Division by assisting with collections-related administrative and clerical tasks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Enter data into Excel and internal software systems.
- Provide customer service support in a professional office or payment processing setting.

- 2-3 years of cashiering, bank teller, retail cash handling, or similar payment processing experience.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are required.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Comfortable learning and using multiple software programs.
- Stable work history and reliable attendance.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work with customers in a courteous manner.
- Ability to handle money responsibly and follow established financial procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience as a bank teller, cashier, retail cashier, or similar cash handling professional.
- Experience in collections, legal services, court services, or a government-related office environment.
- Familiarity with payment reporting, transaction reconciliation, or daily balancing procedures.
