About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR 1) to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who not only enjoy helping customers but also bring hands-on experience in purchasing and warehouse operations.

As the first point of contact for customers, you will ensure smooth order processing and coordination between departments, playing a vital role in delivering excellent service. This position offers training and growth opportunities within the Customer Service team.

What You’ll Do
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency
Process purchase orders with accuracy, including tracking shipments and managing backorders
Coordinate closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Provide product information such as specifications, applications, and compatibility
Collaborate with internal teams (Accounting, Customs, Warehouse, Quotes, and Customer Service) to resolve issues
Utilize Salesforce and Fishbowl systems to manage orders and inventory tracking
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems
Stay updated on product catalog, services, and company policies
Support the quoting team to ensure accurate pricing and order alignment
Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
What We’re Looking For (Required)
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
1–2 years of experience in customer service, with hands-on exposure to purchasing and warehouse operations
Strong understanding of order processing, inventory coordination, and supply chain workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build rapport and maintain customer trust
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
Calm and professional under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Salesforce, Fishbowl, or similar ERP/CRM systems
Background in inventory management, procurement, or logistics
Bilingual or multilingual skills
