About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with experience in handling purchase orders and understanding bill of materials (BOM). In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order processing, and issue resolution, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. Your familiarity with production documentation and materials planning will support smooth communication between customers, sales, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage customer purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
Review orders for accuracy against BOMs and pricing structures
Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules
Coordinate with production, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure timely fulfillment
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and documentation in the ERP or CRM system
Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and met
Resolve order issues, discrepancies, and returns efficiently while maintaining a customer-first approach
Provide product and order support, including part identification using BOMs and technical documentation
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years of customer service or sales support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment
Strong knowledge of purchase orders, order entry systems, and basic understanding of BOMs
Familiarity with ERP systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
