Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Contact Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in Tallahassee, FL, within the healthcare services industry. Key Responsibilities

- Respond to healthcare practitioner, applicant, and licensee inquiries regarding registration, certification, and licensure processes.
- Review customer needs, determine appropriate next steps, and provide accurate technical guidance based on established requirements.
- Conduct research to resolve issues, verify information, and support eligibility determinations.
- Update customer records, case details, and regulatory information with a high level of accuracy.
- Exercise independent judgment when assisting customers and resolving routine to moderately complex concerns.
- Provide professional call center support while maintaining confidentiality and service quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support healthcare practitioner inquiries related to registration, certification, and licensure.
- Review and research applicant or licensee information to determine appropriate action.
- Provide customer support through phone-based or call center communication.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with regulatory process documentation.

- 1 to 2 years of healthcare or insurance call center with administrative support, or related experience.  
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to interpret requirements, follow procedures, and provide clear guidance to customers.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional and patient service approach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when researching information and updating records.
- Ability to manage routine and moderately complex inquiries in a fast-paced customer support environment.
- Comfortable working with confidential or sensitive information in a healthcare-related setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in healthcare services, regulatory support, licensing, credentialing, or government program support.
- Familiarity with healthcare practitioner licensing, certification, or registration processes.
- Experience using customer relationship management systems, case management tools, or database systems.
- Prior experience supporting applicants, licensees, or professionals through eligibility or compliance-related processes.
