Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Credit & Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate advanced analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and experience managing delinquent accounts and collection processes. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and overdue payments.
Manage and oversee the full collections process including pending invoices and delinquent accounts.
Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all collection activities including payment details and correspondence.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes in collaboration with clients and internal departments.
Provide regular reports and status updates to management regarding outstanding accounts.
Collaborate with the sales team to improve collection strategies and reduce delinquency.
Generate, review, and analyze collection reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding collection and debt recovery.
Assist in credit reviews and evaluations for new and existing clients to determine credit limits and terms.
Work closely with the accounting department to reconcile client accounts and ensure accurate payment posting.
Send aging reports to Sales Representatives.
Requirements
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP).
Full command of the English language.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-volume environment.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: $32,000 annually
Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
