Summary:
The Credit Team Lead is responsible for supervising a team of Credit Analysts, ensuring accurate case management, compliance with company standards, and achievement of performance goals. This role combines leadership, credit analysis expertise, and client relationship management while providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of the Credit Analyst team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Attend client and prospect requests, providing guidance and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Oversee follow-up on pending cases, ensuring timely resolution and accurate status reporting.
• Manage and delegate multiple tasks, programs, and client portfolios within the department.
• Review and maintain accurate documentation and digital case records.
• Ensure correct use of credit terminology in all case management activities.
• Guide the team in handling potential cancellations and implementing client retention strategies.
• Provide leadership in client-facing situations, including in-person support when needed.
• Review reports and analyses prepared by team members to support lending and solvency decisions.
• Monitor client financial consulting, ensuring clear guidance on debt vs. income management, loan options, and credit improvement strategies.
• Validate the analysis of credit reports, reconciliations, and investigation results performed by the team.
• Ensure proper use of Salesforce, Dispute Module, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook for case management.
• Monitor scheduling of client cases and follow-ups in Outlook.
• Oversee reconciliations of adverse accounts documented in “Account Log.”
• Train and mentor staff on the credit rectification process, credit management best practices, and SOP guidelines.
• Ensure financial products and services are properly offered to existing clients.
• Provide final review and sign-off on client portfolios and case analyses.
• Verify that system notes accurately reflect all client interactions and actions taken by the team.
• Enforce compliance with departmental goals, directives, and performance metrics.
• Support workforce scheduling, including availability for Saturdays, after hours, or holidays as required by business needs.
• Manage schedule adjustments based on department requirements.
• Approve and monitor weekly attendance and timesheets in ADP.
• Prepare and submit team performance reports to supervisors or management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with departmental objectives.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and/or Accounting, or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 4 years of banking experience, including prior experience as a Credit Analyst.
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong experience in credit report analysis and financial consulting.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and case management systems.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
