Summary:
The Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluating credit reports, guiding clients through financial solutions, and ensuring accurate case management. This role requires strong analytical skills, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple client portfolios while complying with company policies and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend client and prospect requests in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide follow-up on pending cases to ensure timely resolution and status updates.
• Manage multiple tasks and service-related programs simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate documentation and digital records of client cases.
• Apply knowledge of credit terminology in daily case management.
• Handle potential cancellations with effective client communication and retention strategies.
• Assist clients in-person when required.
• Present new clients with information about financial products and how these support credit improvement.
• Prepare reports and results analysis to assist in lending and solvency decisions.
• Provide detailed analysis and guidance on improving client credit profiles.
• Identify key factors to strengthen assigned client portfolios.
• Analyze credit reports and investigation results to support recommendations.
• Use platforms such as Salesforce, Dispute Module, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook for case tracking and reporting.
• Schedule case follow-ups in Outlook to maintain updated progress.
• Review reconciliations of adverse accounts documented in “Account Log” by Credit Experts.
• Educate clients on the credit rectification process.
• Guide clients on best practices for proper credit management.
• Provide orientation on the importance of credit improvement and avoiding recurrence.
• Offer financial products and services to existing clients as needed.
• Deliver personalized service in alignment with SOP guidelines.
• Provide financial consulting on debt vs. income management, loan options, and interest rate strategies.
• Work with assigned client portfolios and complete final case analyses.
• Record system notes for all actions and communications with clients.
• Ensure compliance with department goals and directives from team leaders, supervisors, or managers.
• Be available to work on Saturdays, after hours, or holidays as required by business needs.
• Adapt to schedule changes as required by the department.
• Verify weekly attendance and timesheets in ADP.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and/or Accounting, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in banking as a Credit Officer or similar.
• Previous experience in credit report analysis.
• Preferred: 1 year of financial consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of finance, banking, and credit processes.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and case management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
