We are seeking an Cost Financial Analyst for a direct hire opportunity. The Cost Financial Analyst will manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities for manufacturing operations, with a focus on COGS, inventory, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions. This position offers strong visibility to management, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the opportunity to contribute to accurate reporting and improved financial performance.

Responsibilities: 
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including accurate recording of financial transactions, month-end close activities, and preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze Cost of Goods Sold accounts, including yield, usage, manufacturing variances, cost deviations, and related expense trends.
- Manage inventory accounting, monthly inventory reconciliations, year-end inventory support, and participation in physical inventory counts.
- Handle intercompany transactions, including expense allocations, sales billing, collections, and balance reconciliations.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including asset recognition, depreciation, asset number assignments, and investment-related transactions.
- Support audits, budgeting, royalty calculations, accounts payable coding, and additional financial analysis requested by management.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role within manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
- Strong experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with month-end closing, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and resolve financial issues.
- Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

 Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity. - Annual performance bonus.
- Christmas bonus: 4.5 percent of salary.
- Vacation: 15 days.
- Sick leave: 12 days.
