Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in tracking, analyzing, and controlling the company’s costs to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Analyze and allocate costs related to production, labor, materials, and overhead.

Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analysis, and cost forecasts.

Maintain accurate inventory valuations and cost accounting records.

Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to optimize cost control.

Support budgeting and financial planning activities.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience (3+ years) as a Cost Accountant or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities
